Lake Ferguson - 11/19/2009

LAKE FERGUSON

Water levels are still very high but they are falling and should continue to fall slowly. There are a few reports of bream still being caught, mainly on crickets. Though there are no new reports from bass anglers, bass fishing should begin picking back up. Try fishing up in the more shallow regions. Bass are likely to be feeding on bluegill during this cold time of year.

Current River levels near Lake Ferguson is 40.1 feet (Greenville gage) and at a slow fall. For up to date river levels, go to www.rivergages.com, click on the Vicksburg district, Mississippi River and passes.
