Elvis Presley Lake - 11/16/2009

ELVIS PRESLEY LAKE: Water temps are now in the low 60s. Bass reports are coming from the backs of the coves and main lake points. Texas-rigged plastics and shallow to medium running crankbaits have been the best baits. Some fish are still biting topwater. Most bream are being caught by tight-lining red wigglers in 10-12 ft of water. Crappie anglers are picking up a few fish at the drain structure and targeting suspended fish along the creek channel in 10-18ft of water. Crappie jigs or minnows are both catching fish. A few catfish are being caught along the drop-offs in the lake. Tight-lining liver seems to be the technique of choice.
