Chotard and Albermarle - 11/16/2009

CHOTARD AND ALBERMARLE According to Johnny Laney at Laney's Fishing Camp (601-279-4291). The River is falling, but there is still too much water in the lake. The fishing will be better when the level drops to 25-26ft. (same as last week) Bream fishing tough. The high water is making it tough to catch bream. Bass fishing is tough. Try soft plastics around the banks. Crappie fishing is tough. The excess water is making it tough to catch the ol papermouth. White bass fishing is slow. Try the areas that water is moving into the lake. Catfish fishing is excellent. Try using worms or cutbait where the water comes from the river into the lake. One report of 50lbs. of fish.
