ALICEVILLE LAKE (TENN-TOM):
Anglers are reporting a fair bass. Some anglers are fishing the creeks and the riprap right below Columbus Dam and reporting a few decent fish. Most of the reports are coming from the lower end of the lake like Pratts Camp, Kincaid Creek, and Big Coalfire. Best baits have been t-rigged plastics, shallow crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. This time of year a shad pattern is usually the best option. The crappie reports are fair. Most anglers are working the timber and brush at Pratts or the vegetation in Pumpkin Creek with a few reports from Oswalt slough around the standing timber. Both jigs and minnows are catching a few fish. Catfish reports are fair with most folks are hitting the channel and the mouths of the old river runs with jugs and rod-n-reels with some success. Cut shad seems to be working well right now.
