Oktibbeha County Lake - 11/16/2009

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY LAKE: Water temps are running in the 60s. Bass reports continue to be fair to good. Bass anglers are hitting the shallow brush and timber with t-rigged plastics and spinnerbaits. The small cove by the campground and the fishing piers on the south shoreline have been popular areas. Anglers are reporting a decent catfish bite with most anglers fishing from the bank along the dam and are tight-lining cutbait and liver. Bream and crappie anglers are fishing shallow structure with wigglers and minnows. Bream anglers have been tightlining around the piers while crappie fishermen are concentrating on sunken brush. The two fishing piers seem to be holding both crappie and bream right now.
