MDWFP Seminar set for Sept. 24 in Ocean Springs

Jackson – The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is offering several informational seminars throughout the state. The first seminar is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 at the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center of Arts and Education in Ocean Springs. The address for the event is 1600 Government Street.

The event is open to the public and will cover a variety of topics. The seminar agenda includes the MDWFP’s deer program, bear program, alligator program, turkey hatch update, agency youth programs, dove hunting regulations and an update on Buccaneer State Park. Members of the MDWFP executive and technical staff will be on hand to answer questions.
