Lake Whittington:  A collective effort from Ronnie Roberts of Boyle and Cleveland residents Bryant Reed and Clay Peeples was needed to land this monster Longnose gar.  The trio were Bowfishing at Lake Whittington when Ronnie shot the fish.  He fought it for a while and Bryant and Clay helped him land it.  They contacted DWFP Biologist, Nathan Aycock, who verified the fish.  At 42 pounds it was just shy of the state record for the Trophy Fish category.  It was over 5 ½ long and had a girth of 21 inches.
