2008 – 2009 WMA Deer Harvest Report

Reported WMA deer harvest is updated weekly during the deer hunting season.  This data is collected by WMA Area Managers from permit cards deposited at WMA check stations.  The graph below shows the average number of man-days of deer hunting per deer harvested on each WMA.  This graph is cumulative and will change throughout the season.  The table below the graph lists the total man-days of deer hunting, total harvest, total buck harvest, and total doe harvest by WMA.  These number are cumulative as well and will change throughout the season.

For data from a particular WMA, click on the name of the WMA in the list above the graph.  On the individual WMA page, the average number of man-days of deer hunting per deer harvested is shown by week in the graph and in the table.  The cumulative man-days and total harvest numbers are at the bottom of the table.  The date on the graph and in the table is the date of the end of the 7-day reporting period.  For example, 11/10/2008 represents the week of 11/03/2008 – 11/09/2008.  No bar on the graph for an individual week indicate no deer were harvested during the reporting period.
